1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how OFLP ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader established in the United Kingdom, of 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom, handles personal data in connection with the FlowLadder XP software and the oflptrader.com website. Contact: support@oflptrader.com.
2. Our privacy principle
FlowLadder XP is designed to keep your trading private. The software runs locally inside your own NinjaTrader 8 installation. Your orders, positions, account details, and trading activity stay on your machine — we do not collect, receive, store, or sell your trading data.
3. What the software connects to
The only outbound connection FlowLadder XP makes is a periodic licence check to verify that your subscription is valid. This licence check is handled through our licensing provider (Keygen) and transmits only the minimal information needed to validate your licence — such as your licence key and a machine identifier (fingerprint). It does not transmit your trades, positions, or account balances.
4. Information we do process
- Trial requests: when you request a trial, we collect your email address, your first name, and optionally the broker or platform version you use. This is handled through our email provider (Brevo), who also delivers your download link and our emails to you.
- Purchase and billing information: when you buy a subscription, the payment is taken through PayPal. PayPal collects and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive limited order information from PayPal (such as your name, email address, and what you purchased) to fulfil your licence, provide support, and meet our tax and accounting obligations. We never see or store your card details.
- Licensing information: your licence key, the email address bound to your licence, and your machine identifier, used solely to activate and validate your licence.
- Support communications: if you email us, we process the information you provide to respond and provide support.
- Website data: our website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics and standard server logs. We do not use your data for advertising.
5. The Machine ID
When you activate a licence we store a Machine ID — a short code derived from your computer's hardware — against your customer record. This is used solely to bind your licence to your machine, so that the licence you paid for opens on your computer and not on someone else's. It contains no personal information, no account details, and nothing that identifies you, and it is not used for any other purpose.
6. Why we process it and legal basis
We process this information to fulfil our contract with you (providing and licensing the software), to provide support, and to comply with legal obligations. This is done on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal compliance under UK GDPR.
7. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers necessary to run the business: PayPal (payments), Keygen (licence validation), Brevo (email delivery and trial requests), and our website hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
8. Data retention
We keep purchase and licensing records for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@oflptrader.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
10. International transfers
Some of our providers (for example PayPal, Keygen, Brevo) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.
